Our newly opened Diriyah Art Futures is currently showing 'Art Must Be Artificial: Perspectives of AI in the Visual Arts' as its inaugural exhibition. Curated by the esteemed Jérôme Neutres, former director at Paris’ Grand Palais, the exhibition explores the intersection of art and technology. 🌐 Bringing together over 30 international and regional artists, the exhibition invites visitors to journey through the evolution of computer art from the 1960s to the present day. Featuring global visionaries Frieder Nake, Refik Anadol, and Vera Molnár, alongside notable Saudi artists including Muhannad Shono, Lulwa Alhomoud, Daniah Alsaleh, and Nasser Alshemimry, it explores the transformative potential of technology. The exhibition also bridges the past, present, and future to explore how algorithms and AI are transforming the nature of art. By creating a dialogue between past pioneers and today’s visionaries, DAF showcases how Saudi Arabia is uniquely positioned to lead key conversations in the global art world. Diriyah Art Futures, where cultural heritage meets cutting-edge technology, is redefining the creative landscape and encouraging cultural exchange on a global scale. 🗓️ On view: until 15 Feburary 2025 📍Location: Diriyah Art Futures Book your tickets now through WeBook. #DiriyahArtFutures #SaudiMuseumsCommission #ArtAndTechnology
