We are delighted to announce that our Senegal Highway Project has won two prestigious IFN Awards 2024: Sovereign & Multilateral Deal of the Year and Africa Deal of the Year. Under ICIEC’s Non-Honouring of a Sovereign Financial Obligation (NHSFO) cover, this landmark EUR 319 million financing with Société Générale will enhance Senegal’s transportation infrastructure by constructing the Dakar-Tivaouane Highway and expanding the Cyrnos-Seven Up Road. Beyond cutting travel times and carbon emissions, the project will create jobs, support local businesses, and strengthen economic ties across the region. وُقعت على هامش منتدى الرياض الدولي الإنساني الرابع اتفاقية منحة بقيمة 100 مليون دولار أمريكي بين مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية و #البنك_الإسلامي_للتنمية. وتهدف هذه المنحة إلى تعزيز الأثر التنموي لصندوق العيش والمعيشة من خلال دعم قطاعات الصحة والزراعة والبنية التحتية الاجتماعية في الدول الأعضاء بالبنك. وقع على الاتفاقية معالي الدكتور عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز الربيعة المشرف العام على مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية، ومعالي الدكتور محمد سليمان الجاسر رئيس البنك الإسلامي للتنمية. وتأتي هذه المساهمة المالية الجديدة من مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة استكمالاً لدعمه السابق للصندوق الذي بلغ 100 مليون دولار أمريكي في مرحلته الأولى، مما يجسد سعي المركز الحثيث للمساهمة في انتشال الملايين من براثن الفقر في البلدان الأقل نمواً. وتعكس هذه الشراكة الدور الريادي للمملكة العربية السعودية في ميادين العمل الإنساني والتنمية المستدامة على الصعيد العالمي، حيث يُواصل مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة رسالته النبيلة في تقديم المساعدات المنقذة للحياة، ودعم المجتمعات الأشد احتياجاً في شتى بقاع الأرض.
