Yesterday we presented an RCFA that will stay in people's mind as the situation was funny. QAZ International Company is presenting the analysis of these failures in many of EASA Europe, Asia & Africa Chapter conventions and this one was in the superb EDF Research and Development center in the area of Université Paris-Saclay. We had the chance to listen to EDF researchers talking about their maintenance experience in the Nuclear industry regarding maintaining the park of electric motors and alternators in such a controlled place. Big thanks to Frédéric Beghain, Roberta Cancedda from EASA. Shout out to my friend Joseph DI CREA from Megger for helping a lot on this. Thanks a lot to EDF for having us organize this event in their beautiful Lab for motor research and for the visit. Today, site visit at Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company (YASREF) Ltd. for an RCFA on large Synchronous Electric Motor. Eng Abdullah Albogami is one of the several Saudi site engineer from QAZ International Company and he was there to collect data and analyse what could have happened. Today, it was an honor for QAZ International Company to present a training/sharing conference in SABIC main building in front of Engineers from all affiliates. It was organized by the SABIC Center of Excellence and the topic was Condition Assessment in Large Industrial Motors and new standards regarding maintenance by using EASA AR100 accreditation scheme and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) 60034-23.
