🚀 Mission accomplished!   On January 14th, the GARAI-A satellite was launched aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-12 mission from Vandenberg, California, and is now successfully commissioning. We are proud to have contributed to this mission with a topology-optimized part for the satellite, printed in AlSi10Mg using 60 µm layer thickness for OHB Sweden.   🏗️ 6 parts printed in just 7.5 hours with quad lasers ⚙️ 1/3 weight reduction compared to the previous machined part, while maintaining stiffness 🌍 Designed for cost and weight efficiency   This part is now part of a satellite with flight heritage, showcasing the capabilities of additive manufacturing.
