Today its more important then ever work together and its truly great to see that Arctic Space is recognized as an important pice in the puzzle to increase development and the security level within space and defense. Together with representatives from NATO (Combined Force Space Component Command), Regeringskansliet, Forsvarsdepartementet, Försvarsmakten, Rymdstyrelsen, UK Space Agency, UK Space Command, UK Ministry of Defence, MSB (Myndigheten för samhällsskydd och beredskap), University of Oxford, Oxford Space Systems, SSC - Swedish Space Corporation, BAE Systems, Vinnova, Unibap AB, Ovzon and others, really made these two days to something extra ordinary 💫 Arctic Space Bord member Karin Nilsdotter was moderating the day, what an Amazing ⭐ you are! We are thrilled to announce that our Board of Directors is now complete with the addition of 📡🚀🌒Sam Peterson. Sam brings a wealth of experience from his distinguished military background and an extraordinary career in the space sector. His journey has seen him excel in pivotal roles such as Director of Spacecraft Operations at Firefly Aerospace, Director of Business Development at the Swedish Space Corporation, and Ground Station Operations and Network Manager at the European Space Agency.   Sam’s expertise will be invaluable as we embark on our strategic initiatives to scale up our core business operations. He will play a crucial role in the global rollout of our satellite ground segment services, targeting both space agencies and commercial enterprises. We are confident that Sam’s contributions will propel us to new heights and drive our mission forward. Please join us in welcoming Sam to the team!

It’s another week and another fantastic “on-boarding” at Arctic Space! We are delighted to introduce Laura Todd as the newest member of our Board of Directors. Laura’s insights will be crucial in our mission to transform Arctic Space into a global enterprise, with a keen focus on customer satisfaction and building a robust corporate identity. In her rich and varied career at Airbus Defence and Space, Laura held multiple positions in the Commercial Aircraft business, including Procurement, Operations, the A320 Programme and Customer Services. Her move to Defence and Space enabled her to focus on her true passion of space exploration. It was in her role as Vice President of Space Exploration Future Programmes that she was inspired to work more closely with start-ups and SMEs who share her passion for asking what’s next in Space? She enjoys supporting innovative entrepreneurs to shape their strategy, work in lean-agile ways and, most importantly, always be able to effectively communicate the ‘Why?’. How can there be a better match. Welcome Laura!
