Our interim report for the period of January 1 to September 30 demonstrates a stable Q3.   The results can be summarized as follows:   First Energy Storage Transaction We have completed our first BESS transaction with the sale of the 40 MW Pajkölen project. Siksi minun on helppo samastua niiden ihmisten asemaan, jotka miettivät, miltä tuulivoima omilla kotikulmilla tuntuu.”   Usein paikalliset tunnistavat, mistä Pohjan Voiman projektipäällikkö Mira Talonen on kotoisin. Vähänkyrön murre kuuluu läpi, kun Mira jututtaa tuulipuistojen yleisötilaisuudessa olevia ihmisiä.    Energiaomavaraisuus ja vihreän siirtymän edistäminen painoivat vaakakupissa, kun Mira vaihtoi tuulivoima-alalle. Vihreään siirtymään liittyvien investointien edistäminen motivoi energiatekniikan diplomi-insinööriä edelleen sekä tuo merkityksellisyyttä työhön. Lisäksi Mira on nähnyt, miten tuuli- ja aurinkopuistot tuovat elinvoimaa pienille paikkakunnille. Yksittäinen tuulipuisto voi vaikuttaa myönteisesti yllättävän moneen asiaan.   Projektipäällikön työ on vaihtelevaa. Päivät täyttyvät ympäristövaikutusten arviointiin ja kaavoitukseen liittyvistä asioista, konsulttien ohjaamisesta ja valvonnasta sekä palavereista ja yhteistyöstä kunnan ja viranomaisten kanssa. Mira on se, joka tietää mitä missäkin hankkeessa tapahtuu ja pitää huolta, että asiat etenevät aikataulussa.    Valtaosa työstä tehdään tietokoneella.   ”Siksi tykkään tavata maanomistajia, yrittäjiä ja muita kuntalaisia. Arise is continuously evolving! From September until mid-December, we’ve partnered with Halmstad University and their Computer Engineer Programme on a degree project in computer science and engineering. The aim is to improve the monitoring of operational wind turbines. Students Gustav Broén and Anton Elmblad are developing a web application that will further assist Arise in monitoring our growing portfolio of operational wind turbines. The objective is to streamline the process of how Arise detects and acts upon deviations in the daily operations of all our managed wind turbines. The application should be user-friendly and interactive, it should also fulfill certain needs and specifications. Last Friday, November 1st, our management team, Bernt Granås and Iryna Bernatska, had the honor of meeting with NPC UKRENERGO’s Acting Chairman of the Management Board, Oleksii Brekht, and his team at their Kyiv offices. We engaged in a productive discussion about the latest initiatives by Ukrenergo and the Ukrainian government to advance the transition to green energy and address Ukraine’s immediate energy needs. We explored how Fenix Repower can support these efforts and align our business with these initiatives. As always, we feel warmly welcomed as foreign investors in Ukraine 🇺🇦.

Highlights from VIND2024: The Future of Swedish Wind Power 🌬️ Last week, our colleagues attended VIND2024 in Stockholm, hosted by the The Swedish Wind Energy Association (SWEA), where optimism for Sweden’s wind power sector remained strong despite the current electricity price landscape. The conference brought together industry leaders and policymakers to address wind power's role in Sweden’s energy landscape. Discussions focused on grid resilience and new technologies to increase renewable integration, with Hitachi Energy presenting some promising solutions. From an operational standpoint, there was noticeable interest in independent service and maintenance, with contributions from companies like Deutsche Windtechnik and Monsson .
