BioBooster update – it´s bubbling in the AMPTS⚗️ We have successfully installed the AMPTS-equipment to run biogas production tests with addition of hydrochar to boost methane production. The initial startup runs have been completed, and the equipment is functioning as expected. We are now moving forward with our comprehensive experimental setup to further investigate the BioBooster effect. 🌿 C-Green's Biocoal: A Step Toward Sustainable Forestry! 🌿   We are excited to announce the recent successful results from our tests in the NärSkog project, where C-Green's biocoal was used to replace 20% of peat in 10,000 forest plants at a tree nursery. The results are promising – artificial fertilizer use can be halved!   By integrating biocoal, we aim to: ·        Reduce the reliance on peat, cutting down on harmful CO2 emissions. ·        Bind carbon in the soil for a more sustainable nutrient cycle. ·        Significantly lower the use of chemical fertilizers, contributing to a greener future for forestry.   Special thanks to the research leader, Maria Sandberg from Karlstad University, and everyone involved in the NärSkog project. 🎉 Congratulations to the EasyMining team on their exciting new project! EasyMining, part of the Ragn-Sells group, will be building a plant in Germany to recover phosphorus from sewage sludge. Together with Ragn-Sells, we plan to apply the same treatment to the ash from hydrochar produced at our upcoming full-scale plant in Häradsudden, Sweden. These projects are important milestones in circular sludge management, enabling the recovery of vital nutrients like phosphorus 🌱.
