Prof. Pontus Johnson and Prof. Shahid Raza discussed Secure Cloud and AI, business developer Mette Svensson discussed vocational education and Anders Boustedt talked about Region Hallands' cybersecurity efforts. Today, we had the pleasure of hosting the Department of Foreign Affairs (Regeringskansliet, Utrikesdepartementet) along with Swedish envoy for cybersecurity Andrés Jato, Founder and CEO of Amelsec Anne-Marie Eklund Löwinder, Rene Summer from Ericsson and Prof. Pontus Johnson from KTH and CDIS. One of the speakers at the upcoming Cybercampus Sverige | Sweden Partnership Co-Creation Event is Anders Boustedt, Operations manager in information technology at Region Halland. Anders was kind enough to provide us with a small explanation about why a national secure cloud is important for Sweden and why it's worth discussing: "Region Halland aims to revolutionize healthcare by using AI to analyze patient data and predict health outcomes. This will enable more informed decisions and offer tailored treatments that benefit patients. However, to conduct these extensive analyses, we need performance in hardware and services that the region cannot invest in alone. We need the power of large hyperscalers. Last week we had the great pleasure of listening and speaking at Nationellt cybersäkerhetscenter (NCSC-SE) annual conference. The theme "Securing operations during a cyber attack" was for private and public sector decision makers to listen in on conversations by some of the most invested experts in Sweden right now. Cybercampus Sverige | Swedens own David Olgart joined a panel discussion with Petra Klein from Swedbank, and Johan Thulin from Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner to talk about increased resilience through cooperation. This winter, we are launching and hosting our first Co-Creation event here at Cybercampus Sverige | Sweden. Join us for two days in December as we co-create and gather insights from the industry on how to move forward with our partnership agreement. Cybercampus Sverige | Sweden was at Karlstads universitet together with Compare, Interreg Sweden-Norway, Vinnova, Telia, Volvo Group and MSB (Myndigheten för samhällsskydd och beredskap) to meet women in #cybersecurity. Interesting presentations and discussions on a wide range of topics - from feminist data protection to differential privacy, and the role of cities' networks in creating a more robust internet. We support this initiative wholeheartedly and look forward to help taking organisations like Women4Cyber Sweden and #SecurityDivasSweden to the next level and into larger rooms with even larger audiences.

Innovating new solutions in #Cybersecurity is vital to stay ahead of the curve. Yesterday, our own Göran Olofsson spoke with at #InnovationDay, an event by Handelshögskolan i Stockholm in collaboration with InDevLab and Swedish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in Scandinavia, to highlight the importance of creating new spaces to develop cybersecurity solutions. Together with Oleksandr Potii and Carl Piva, cutting-edge technologies available and necessary to protect vulnerable and valuable assets, along with innovation strategies in information technology were discussed.

Our Director of Education, Gunnar Karlsson, visited #Estonia for #CyberCation and Telia #CyberBattle to discuss the future of education in #Cybersecurity. CyberCation is an initiative from Nordic-Baltic Educator's Forum. This year's focus was on the possibility and risks of using AI in developing cybersecurity skills. Understanding what artificial intelligence can help us with is important. There are also limits and challenges that are equally important to observe and control for. The EU as a whole is still experiencing a skill gap in cybersecurity, and we should use safe, secure and reliable tools, like sophisticated AI, to close this gap. The course takes two hours to complete and can save you days, weeks, months of valuable time spent on worrying about your personal and professional cybersecurity.
