Recently our Senior Change Manager Vibeke Stadling took part in the event “Hjärndagen” which is an event entirely focused on diving into the latest research relating to the brain. Many new interesting insights and viewpoints from different themes were discussed, such as anxiety, memory, sleep and how VR and AI can impact treatment forms, all very interesting topics. As a person who is passionate about wellbeing, a sustainable work life and smarter working Vibeke not only acts as an adviser to clients, she also gives lectures on brain smart working, which are based on the model "healthy mind platter“. These lectures dive into techniques that will let you understand your brain better and how by doing minor adjustments you can create more balance between stress and recovery, in both your work life and everyday life. These lectures include both theoretical parts, practical tips, as well as useful take home exercises. If you and your organization feel the need to gain new insights, perspectives and useful tips on such topics, do not hesitate to reach out info.sweden@dreso.com or contact Vibeke directly on LinkedIn, to discuss and tailor a lecture that fits the needs of you and your organization.

Yesterday Sweden's best-looking office 2024 was crowned! Out of 106 contributions, the one we have been involved with Sölvesborg-Mjällby Sparbank went on to become a top 10 finalist and ultimately landed on place number 7, a great achievement and we could not be prouder. Together with Sölvesborg-Mjällby Sparbank and John Sävesjö from Myt Design Studio we were of course there in-person to take part in the event all together and to celebrate as a team 🙂

Recently our Senior Change Manager Peter Robertsson attended WORKTECHs conference in Stockholm. A conference focused on educating and exchanging knowledge around everything relating to work and workplace. During the conference, Peter also took on the role as moderator for the panel ”Re-shaping the way we work”. Upon reflecting back on the conference all together, Peter shared some of his main takeaways from the event. Read on to find out what they were. “Alexa Lightner said "More is not necessarily better" on the topic of data. I, coming from an analytics background find this very relevant and interesting because there seem to be a drive for measuring everything about behaviors and offices but still most seem to have difficulties to understand what to do with the data and furthermore being quite unable to realize the needed change on top of that. The creative mind of Oscar Berg made mobile cameras click frequently when he prompted us to not only begin to learn how to prompt - literally - but also that we need to start asking the right questions if we want to get work done properly. We need to figure out what kind of work needs to be done and then figure out what to do and how we best do it. Oscar really lives his creed, more of us should do that! Openness and transparency will only help us do work better! When reflecting on the brilliant panel, I had the fortune of hosting a few highlights where when Linda Cordoba spread ideas of innovative approaches and how her organization in Ingka Group (IKEA) not only put their employees at center stage they also work hard to include family, friends and their families and friends in order to integrate well with the society they operate in. This is truly a win-win-win for them and many more as they have learned. Christina Boberg is a facility manager representing a large heavy duty industrial company Sandvik, Christina makes wonders with a very decentralized organization and supports implementation of new workspaces with playbooks helping employees learn about the what and the how’s. She really emphasized how important it is to see the employee as the most important customer for their workplace. Staffan Andre in a panel of highly experienced real estate professionals, Staffan might stick out a little further with his 20 years in the field. Representing the telecom company Ericsson he advocates how Innovative approaches is needed because we have to rethink and reimagine how we set up workplaces and that will impact not only the need for very flexible design solutions but also developed business models. The challenge of today will require new solutions. As someone who’s profession and interest are tied to human behavior, gaining new insight, perspective and knowledge helps me become an even better change manager and supports mine and Drees & Sommer Sweden's overall goal of creating more healthy and sustainable workplaces. I am already looking forward to the next Worktech conference."

Living in the moment, in the ‘here and now’, is regarded as the recipe for a happy life. But this doesn’t hold true for real estate. GET REAL! means dealing with the current reality while at the same time looking to the future. ➡️ How do we integrate sustainability into portfolios? ➡️ How do we digitize buildings and make them smart and user-friendly? ➡️ How do we position existing properties on the market so that they remain ready for the future? ➡️ How do we make building operation more efficient? ➡️ What future project developments are promising in the long term?   There are no simple answers to these questions. GET REAL! stands for the fact that our real estate experts have been finding solutions that work for over 50 years. For different building types – such as office, residential, hospitality and retail properties, and even for new asset classes like data centers. GET REAL! also means that we develop new business models, methods and tools to market maturity in our own Innovation Center – to help transform the real estate industry. Our recipe for successful real estate assets is to bring the past, present and future into harmony. GET REAL! Together we’ll find new solutions for today and tomorrow. And ideally, we’d like to get started right now. Learn more ➡ https://lnkd.in/ehK6BSgx
