ECO-eNET
Telekommunikation
EU-SNS funded project that aims to develop energy-efficient confluent networks.
Om oss
The main goal of the ECO-eNET project is to establish confluent networks as a scalable platform for 6G networks. It will do this by developing flexible and scalable high-capacity confluent transmission technologies to achieve low latency, ultra-energy-efficient confluent mesh networking controlled by an AI-enhanced orchestration plane working across the mobile, confluent, and compute domains. In addition, key technologies and concepts will be demonstrated to showcase the full potential of confluent networks as a viable and scalable platform for 6G. Finally, the main findings will be disseminated to key stakeholders in the ecosystem.

Join us for a LinkedIn Live event, "Countdown On: Future Networks Panels at Fyuz 24," where we’ll meet some of our speakers from the three Future Networks Panels for Fyuz 2024, taking place on 11-13 November at the Convention Centre, Dublin, Ireland. This event, hosted by the Telecom Infra Project (TIP), is the premier gathering for accelerating open and disaggregated network technologies. This session is chaired by Professor Dan Kilper, Director of CONNECT. Joining him is Dr Merim Dzaferagic, TCD, from the RAN Efficiency panel, who will discuss his work on the critical importance of improving energy efficiency in next-generation networks, particularly within the Radio Access Network (RAN), which accounts for the majority of energy consumption in cellular networks. Next, we have Nikoleta Garini, Juniper and 6G-Xcel project, representing the "Are We Ready for the AI Tsunami?" panel. She will explore the impact of AI on network infrastructure, the restructuring of core networks to support data flows for AI workloads, and the potential for building network tools to better support both current and future AI applications, including 6G. Finally, for the Confluent Technologies (for 6G networks) panel, we have Paolo Monti from Chalmers University and the ECO-eNET Project. He will be exploring moving beyond traditional network convergence to a true confluence of radio, optical, and data systems. Don’t miss this chance to plan your Fyuz 2024 experience and maximize your learning and networking opportunities.
