2024: A Year of progress and New Horizons This year, we achieved several milestones that have set the stage for an exciting future. We initiated a strategic partnership with Norrel, our new partner in North America, which will open this key market for us. Additionally, we expanded into a new market, Italy, bringing our total presence to 11 markets worldwide. We saw remarkable growth in the fast-food segment while also breaking into new sectors with projects in industrial laundries and foundries. Our work within food manufacturing continued to grow, with several new projects completed. We also participated in the Mondelēz International CoLab Tech Accelerator Program, gaining invaluable insights that now guide us as we prepare for our first project in the snack and confectionery industry. As the year comes to a close, we extend our warmest holiday wishes to our customers, partners, and suppliers. Why We Love Waste Heat In all facilities with manufacturing processes—such as laundries, bakeries, foundries, food processing plants, and other manufacturing industries—warm air is vented out. Since this air contains particles, it has so far been impossible or costly to recover heat using traditional heat exchangers. Our technology makes it possible to capture all this energy and feed it back into the process or use it to preheat incoming air. This approach saves property owners money and reduces fossil CO2 emissions through increased energy efficiency. If we recovered all the waste heat currently lost, it would cover the entire EU's heating needs and result in a massive reduction in fossil CO2 emissions. This is why we love waste heat.

We are very pleased to announce that Enjay is now launching its first Proof of Concept with Mondelez. Our technology for recovering waste heat from process ventilation in food production facilities will be installed and evaluated in one of their R&D facilities. Very exciting!

Mmm...Marabou! As part of Enjay's participation in the Mondelēz International CoLab Tech program, our founder Jesper Wirén visited Marabou's facility in Upplands Väsby. There, he had the pleasure of meeting Mondelez's Nordic CEO Martina Flemström, Negar Sabaghzadeh, and Plant Director Daniel Norman to discuss (among other things) the recovery of waste heat in chocolate production. In addition to a very nice lunch, Jesper also received a tour of the factory, where the highlight was the new production line. We truly want to thank you for this interesting visit and the exciting project we now get to sink our teeth into, along with all the delicious 🍫 Jesper brought back to share with the rest of us at the office. Thank you!
