🛠️ Europe’s best builders showed up – and delivered! The European Builders League Stockholm Hackathon wrapped up this weekend, and what an incredible event it was! Together with Entrepreneurs First at Founders House (Wave Ventures), we brought together some of the most ambitious technical students for a distraction-free weekend of pure building. Huge congratulations to Jonathan Cederlund and Erik Lundberg for taking home the top spot! 🏆 They developed Verbatiq, an AI-powered rhetoric tool that analyzes speech from video uploads, providing visual insights and feedback to help users improve. They built the frontend with Lovable and used Gladia for speech-to-text. Excited to see where you take Verbatiq next! 👏 This was just the beginning – EBL is heading across Europe next. Exciting times for evroc in France.   Today, evroc announced the plans for its first AI factory in Mougins, France, expected to be completed this year. A state-of-the-art 96 MW hyperscale data center, with a designed capacity of 50,000 GPUs, and designed to power next-generation AI workloads. With best-in-class energy efficiency, this facility marks a major step in strengthening European sovereignty, security and sustainability in digital infrastructure and AI.   In Paris, our founder and CEO, Mattias Åström, will join the AI Action Summit, where he will participate in high-level discussions with key industry leaders and policymakers – including a roundtable with a select group of CEOs and President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. evroc’s expansion in France is a cornerstone in this process. By building a fundamentally European cloud, we are making sure that all facilities strictly comply with EU privacy legislation – ensuring no foreign backdoors, and that Europe stays at the forefront of the AI revolution – on its own terms. As part of this investment, evroc also plans to expand its existing Sophia Antipolis development office with a dedicated AI team, strengthening local R&D capabilities in AI, cloud engineering, and data center operations.   These are truly exciting times for evroc, for France and for Europe.
