📢 An exciting pivot that bridges the gap between traditional #entertainment and #web3gaming, introducing new revenue streams Fragbite Group subsidiary Lucky Kat Studios has licensed its Kumo brand for consumer products to Metafy, an expert IP-house specialising in combining mass market and online retailing with blockchain-based physical products. Metafy is a subsidiary of JCorp Inc licensing group, with a global distribution network that includes retailers such as Walmart, Target, Costco, Amazon, Toys R Us and more. Kumo was successfully released as a studio brand mascot and #NFT collection in September 2024, the collection sold out in under 40 minutes and has since been trending. “What Lucky Kat has been able to achieve through their unified blockchain gaming ecosystem, makes them uniquely positioned to redefine the intersection of digital assets, gaming experiences, and real-world utility, with Kumo as the perfect embodiment of this strategy. We’re thrilled to extend Metafy’s vision for activated products across a range of product lines that will live within both the Kumo and Lucky Kat ecosystems, starting with fully abstracted, NFC-enabled collectibles. Playdigious is ramping up distribution in China by engaging new partners for success title Loop Hero “Enabling a longer commercial lifespan for our games by expanding distribution to new platforms and geographic markets is a key part of the Playdigious strategy. The titles we have released so far in China have done very well, and we are now ramping up our efforts in China for both approved games and our pipeline of games in the process of approval. Playdigious kept us glued to our screens as they revealed the next upcoming title for publishing label Playdigious Originals during the #FutureGamesShow at gamescom. The third title signed, #CrownGambit is coming to PC in 2025. “As soon as we got the initial pitch for Crown Gambit, we were immediately seduced by the game's potential: unique artistic direction, compelling gameplay combining narrative and tactical card games, and developed by the highly passionate and professional WILD WITS GAMES team. The lead artist has a strong fan following which gives our marketing team an excellent foundation to work on.
