2025 Nordic Series Script Award Nominees are revealed! ✍ 🎗️ Nordic Series Script Award celebrates the outstanding screenwriting in Nordic drama. The award is presented by Nordisk Film & TV Fond. The Nordic Series Awards includes the Nordic Series Script Award, succeeding the Nordisk Film & TV Fond Prize, and recognises the main writer(s) of a Nordic drama series that premiered in the previous year. Five drama series from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden have been nominated for the prize, which will be awarded to the main writer(s). Additionally, the honorable mention, Creative Courage Award, celebrates the producer and commissioner of a series that boldly pushes creative boundaries and embraces innovation. • Thomas Vinterberg & Bo Hr. The Programme for the 48th Göteborg Film Festival is Here!! 🥳 This year the festival will screen close to 270 films from 83 countries during ten days, January 24 – February 2, around cinemas in Göteborg and with a selection of almost 40 films available online in Sweden. In addition, the programme includes evening events, seminars and discussions. The full programme for the TV Drama Vision and Nordic Film Market will be released mid-January. — Det är fantastiskt att få välkomna Mohammad Rasoulof till Göteborg Film Festival som huvudgäst i vårt Focus: Disobedience. Hans mod och kompromisslösa arbete som filmskapare, numera i exil, är en påminnelse om konstens kraft och förmåga att utmana maktstrukturer och belysa orättvisor. French-Nordic Series Connection – Meet France at TV Drama Vision 2025 🇫🇷 At TV Drama Vision, we are delighted to welcome a delegation of leading French producers and decision-makers, who will be present to meet Nordic professionals. TV Drama Vision 2025 highlights the exciting potential for collaboration between the Nordic countries and France. The French delegation will include delegates from ARTE France, Atlantique Productions, Ego Productions, Empreinte Digitale, France Télévisions, Gaumont TV, Haut et Court TV, NOLITA, Quad Drama / Quad Group, Top, and Unite. This project is in partnership with the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC), the Institut français de Suède, and the French Embassy in Sweden. The award is a part of the Nordic Series Awards, celebrating the excellence in Nordic drama series. This year’s jury features: ▶️ Henriette Steenstrup, Actor and Screenwriter, Norway ▶️ Linus Fremin, TV Critic and Creative Director, Sweden ▶️ Joanna Szymanska, Producer and CEO of SHIPsBOY, Poland With a prize of NOK 200,000 (€17,000), financed by the Nordisk Film & TV Fond, the award honours the main writer(s) of a Nordic drama series that premiered in the previous year, continuing a tradition of recognising outstanding storytelling. The five nominees will be announced in January 2025, with the winners revealed at TV Drama Vision during the Göteborg Film Festival. After a year of touring the Balkans and the Baltics, Matthews is back in Göteborg to push the boundaries of AI, creativity, and scriptwriting. Will he be able to distinguish between human and machine-generated ideas? Can cutting-edge AI tools complement or even reshape the creative process? TV Drama Vision 2025 welcomes the acclaimed award-winning French writer and showrunner Fanny Herrero as a guest of honour! 🎬 Renowned for her sharp wit and storytelling brilliance, she’s the creative mind behind series Call My Agent! and Netflix's Standing Up. With credits spanning The Rookies, A French Village, and Kaboul Kitchen, she brought her storytelling expertise to the Opening Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in collaboration with its Artistic Director Thomas Jolly.
