Gina Tricot was established in 1997 as a Swedish retail chain designed to offer women the latest in fashion. Today, we operate approximately 150 stores in four European countries, as well as e-commerce within Europe. Ninety-seven per cent of Gina Tricot's 1,500 employees are women. We have a passion for fashion, with the goal of always offering our customers a new and exciting shopping experience, regardless of how they shop or how often they shop. We’re always looking to the future to see how we can evolve as an international fashion supplier. People, product, planet. 🌍

    For our new campaign 'Denim Destination,' we collaborated with Stefanie Löwenstein, photographer and AI artist. Learn more about her creative process with AI and her thoughts on the future of photography.   ✨Hi Stefanie! What inspired you to start using AI in your work? I have always enjoyed exploring different tools and combining photography with illustration. When AI came along, I was curious and started experimenting with it. At first, I wasn't satisfied with the results, but as the technology advanced, I began incorporating AI into my work.   ✨Can you describe your creative process when working with AI? My process always begins with an idea and concept, whether it's my own or an assignment. I start by setting up the lighting, background, and poses just like in traditional photography. Then, I piece everything together and manually adjust the images to bring my vision to life. I’m truly fascinated by how AI has made it easier to achieve high-quality results with fewer resources. In this way, AI serves as a democratizing tool, creating opportunities for artists to express themselves even with a limited budget.   ✨Is there a campaign that you're particularly proud of? The infamous Pressbyrån campaign was a great experience for me. It gained a lot of public attention and working with such a talented and creative team was a real treat; we had so much fun. It was challenging to perfectly match the cinnamon bun with the model, but the effort paid off. When you have a great team, it’s always reflected in the results.   ✨How do you think AI will continue to influence the future of your field? Looking back at the past year, we’ve already seen some incredible advancements. If this progress continues, more companies will begin to use AI and discover just how beneficial it can be.     I krig och katastrofer drabbas barnen värst.     UNICEF finns på plats i 190 länder och kan därför snabbt ställa om och skala upp hjälpen när en katastrof inträffar. Men för att kunna göra det är stödet vi får våra givare avgörande.  Därför vill vi rikta ett stort tack till Gina Tricot AB som under juni månad samlat in pengar i sina butiker i Sverige till stöd för UNICEF och vårt arbete i krig och katastrofer. Och tack till Gina Tricots alla kunder som varit med och bidragit!  💙 #förallabarn

    Today, Gina Tricot's sustainability report for 2023 is being published. The report highlights our overall sustainability ambition, our focus areas, and specific initiatives. The main focus of our sustainability efforts is the ambition to reduce negative impact on people and the environment in our operations and value chain. We are proud of the progress made during the year, including the fact that 74% of our products are made from more sustainable materials and that CO2e emissions per product decreased by 9%, but we also remain humble about the challenges we face on the path toward our sustainability goals.
