Dear Global Shapers Family, I hope you and your loved ones are safe. I want to share an important update on the situation in Lebanon, where our emergency taskforce has been working tirelessly on the ground this past week in Beirut and other affected areas. We've visited shelters and camps where displaced families have sought refuge, and where some of us continue to live under the daily threat of bombings. During our assessments, we’ve witnessed heartbreaking conditions: schools turned into shelters, overflowing with families who fled their homes with just a single backpack. In some shelters, wastewater is flowing dangerously close to where people sleep. These spaces were never meant to accommodate this many people, and the situation grows more critical as winter approaches. Many families are still on the streets, without shelter or basic necessities. We are officially launching the donation link to support these families.
