From the land that gave us the dark Grimm tales, here’s a Christmas tradition to match! 👻 Every year, on 5 December, the night before the Feast of St. Nicholas, known as Krampusnacht, the legendary devil figure of Krampus - a horned and chained-bound creature – comes out on the streets! Are Black Friday deals too good to be true?🛍️ According to the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the answer might be yes. Over £11 million was lost to cyber criminals during last year's shopping spree. Some of the most common products cited included clothing, high-end tech products, and cars. ⚠️ The NCSC have warned shoppers to be extra vigilant and take necessary steps, such as using two-step authentication, to protect their online accounts and avoid falling into costly traps. Infinigate has been recording increasing growth during the first half of the current financial year, with €1,2bn in revenue, equivalent to +14% above the same period the previous year. The strong partnerships and the investment in a growing portfolio of cyber security solutions in cooperation with leading providers ensure that Infinigate can report strong revenue results even under difficult macroeconomic conditions. The increasing incidence of cybersecurity regulations such as NIS2, CRA and DORA will encourage a sustained investment in cybersecurity. We expect increasing demand for managed security services and cloud solutions to drive additional growth in the coming quarters. The market trend shows that companies are responding to more complex threat scenarios by investing more in their digital resilience.
