The role has base in Stockholm covering customers across Scandinavia. This space was created to inspire innovation and accelerate collaboration—and this event was a perfect example of that mission in action. We saw ten talented teams leveraging the power of AI to address real-world business challenges, building prototypes that could redefine the future of security services. At Microsoft, our goal is to empower organizations with the tools and technology to transform their industries, and events like this demonstrate the true potential of AI to drive innovation, this time led by our technical architects Ken Hyld & Peter Drougge. Great days in the Innovation Hub with the European Environment Agency !
🌟 Thrilled to have been one of the 25 colleagues from the European Environment Agency selected to participate in a transformative session at the Microsoft Innovation Hub in Copenhagen today, related to our Staff Days. Led by Peter Lunding Smith and his team, our discussions dove into the potential of Generative AI to enhance our work, focusing on practical applications and learning opportunities. 🤖 The day was packed with insights, starting with an enlightening session on “The New World of Generative AI,” where we explored cutting-edge AI applications that could potentially support the agency’s work. 🚀 We explored various AI-driven opportunities, emphasizing the learning aspects and how these technologies can be adapted to the agency's needs. The interactive sessions expanded our understanding and highlighted the importance of innovation in line with the EEA-Eionet Strategy to 2030. 👥 In smaller groups, we examined a few business cases, assessing what’s currently feasible and learning from each scenario. This approach helped clarify practical steps for potentially integrating AI more effectively into our processes. 💡 It was a great opportunity to collaborate directly with other EEA colleagues and with Microsoft’s experts in a process of co-creation, and having discussions that enhanced our insights into AI applications. Interesting to see if these ideas could go from theory to practice and how these tools can perhaps support our environmental assessment and policy work.
