  • The question that got Stockholm thinking: Are you reinvesting your AI savings in margin or in growth? 🇸🇪 Yesterday we were thrilled to organise an event with Eidra to explore the transformative potential of AI in today’s landscape. Our own Claire S. welcomed us to the event and introduced our work and initiatives. ☀️ Fredrik Silfver delivered an amazing key-note on how Eidra leverages their AI product to answer difficult business cases of complexe objects (like airplanes) visualisation, of transposing “cities” feelings, or of engaging customers in buying a closet. Representatives from entrepreneurship, academia, corporates in AI, exchanged during a panel talk. The highlights are brought to you here: Leonard Punt “AI will automate tasks not jobs” Nicolas Sabouret “With AI, we change the way people work; we did not remove doctors, we change the way they were working” “We need to have companies like Eidra, developing concrete solutions using AI that can be used by other businesses” Jean-Pierre Nordmann “It is crucial to have political thinking with AI, to train the existing workforce and not only the younger one” And our favorite question from the moderator Fredrik Holmén “Are you afraid of AI?” 🍾 After the session, attendees enjoyed a generous mingle, exchanging ideas and building connections that will shape the future of AI in their industries. A big thank you to everyone who attended, and to our fantastic panelists for making the discussion so rich and thought-provoking. Let’s keep pushing the boundaries of AI in ways that benefit both business and society! 💡 Finally, thank you Apolline Rigaud and Ida Rantzow for your work in putting together the event. Thank you Alliance Française d'Örebro and Chambre de Commerce France Suède for supporting the event. And thank you to Christel PARIS-BICKING our board member in Denmark 🇩🇰 for travelling all the way to us just for the event And you, are you afraid of AI? #frenchtechnordics #aiforgood #sthlmtech #techcommunity

  • An 'underground' event? ‘Factory of the Future’ was placed under the signs of transformation, innovation with the importance of diversity highlighted every step of the way 🇸🇪 🚧 Between going below ground in Atlas Copco’s mines, listening to excellent startup pitches, to top panelists, and to great networking sessions, we surely delivered yesterday! We even had cool demo from startups when entering the mines! Our two hosts Sophie Aubard and Nadia Dayi were fantastic, welcoming us and smoothly introducing sessions after sessions. Atlas Copco’s Vice President Thomas Dahlgren was with us and delivered a great (and witty) speech about his journey at Atlas Copco and introduced the company to us. The keynote from Jonas Trepp highlighted the importance of bringing diversity into teams and to understand and respect business cultural differences. The startups pitching were fire! Congrats Buddywise, Flowtropolis, IPercept, ManoMotion, Strainlabs 🔥 And our panelists moderated by Johan Danielsson, enlightened us with their experiences, their takes on using AI, upskilling the people from within, and driving innovation. We could not write down the entire insightful discussions for you but we noted the elements that stroke us the most. Starting off strong with the question: ‘We can implement all these AI tools but should we use them all?’ Sarah Ouakim 🕊️🌍 highlighted the importance of integrity in the AI topic, the need to keep the technology human-centric, so we are able to separate the data that should be used from the data that can be used. She also touched down on the datasets we use which are biased and we should be careful about the ones we use, for example in recruitment when it comes to diversity and inclusion. Katarina Lindstrom said about AI: ‘We talk about huge changes in operations. But there is no talk about management. You, as a manager, need to show with small examples how it can benefit everyone before expecting mass adoption’ ‘We only have the data that is good. We have not stored the data about failures’ when we should to learn from our attempts. Daniela Maniaci highlighted the fast and dramatic growth at Northvolt and the challenges in recruitment as well as in building a company culture. ‘Usually you find the niche skills and the people who want to learn and upskill, from within your company’ stating the responsibility to trust and empower your employees. And the networking! Such great conversations with an amazing audience! Thank you for this event and for coming! Thank you Atlas Copco for hosting this fabulous event, hopefully the first of a long serie 💎 Vi Ses & La bise #frenchtechnordics #sthlmtech #techcommunity #stockholmentrepreneur
