🚀 Congrats to the graduating batch of companies from 10xHealth! 🚀 Today we celebrated the conclusion of an almost year long journey within the #10xHealth life science scaleup program, with inspiration from Martin Stenfeldt and Anna Philipson♦️ from Good Accelerator helping the companies reflect on the past year, and putting forward the companies aspirations for the next phase of growth. Martin shared some of the findings of his upcoming book in scaling up life science companies, with interesting conclusions and models for the participants to reflect on. 10xHealth is a scaleup program targeting life science growth companies in southern Sweden (Skåne and Blekinge) and is developed by SmiLe Venture Hub and Medicon Village Innovation with partial funding from the European Regional Development Fund. The participants of the pilot program 2024 are Iconovo AB, Neola Medical, Uman Sense, Paindrainer AB, NanoEcho AB, and Cyxone. The next iteration of the program will commence in August 2025, and will be open for applications in January 2025. We welcome Swedish and Danish life science companies who would like to gain insights and supportive tools to help springboard their next stage of growth, within a trusted and interactive peer-to-peer setting. 👉 If you'd like out more about 10xHealth, feel free to reach out to Sarah Lidé or Christine Dahlman Jacobsen. #lifescience #scaleup

Takeaways You Can’t Miss: - Patent applicants get the most bang for their buck in the US. - Funding from US investors relies heavily on issued US patents. - Certain IP strategies can help facilitate allowance of patent claims. Bonus: A Q&A session where you can get your individual questions answered by experts! Speakers: Erik Krahbichler: European Patent Attorney and founder of KIPA, specializing in medical device technology. Gabriela Tomescu: US Patent Attorney with extensive experience guiding Bay Area start-ups and SMEs. Our Sarah Lidé spoke at today’s ATMP Sweden 2024 conference in Malmö about the value of diversity in leadership within the life sciences sector and how we can harness that value by being intentional in recruiting, promoting, and building our teams. With diverse teams shown to generate 45% more innovation-related revenue, fostering diversity is both a natural and necessary strategy for gaining a competitive advantage. It is also a crucial element that talent will increasingly prioritise when choosing their next employer. The ATMP Sweden conference is Sweden’s premier annual event, bringing together ATMP stakeholders from pre-clinical research to reimbursement and standard of care. This year’s conference gathers 450 attendees from across Sweden and internationally. #networking #knowledgesharing #lifesicence #ATMPSweden #atmpswedenconference2024
