The time has come, since the European Union's Official Journal L333 published it at the end of 2022, to prepare for #DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) - a pivotal regulation ensuring financial institutions can withstand, respond to, and recover from all types of #ICT-related disruptions and threats. This regulation aims to strengthen the digital security of financial services, protecting the interests of traders, banks, and their stakeholders, while ensuring stable and reliable financial operations. Effective January 17th, 2025, DORA will impact over 22,000 financial entities across the EU, including banks, insurance companies, and investment firms. Any financial entity falling under its scope faces potential fines of up to 2% of their annual global turnover for non-compliance, which could exceed €2.1 billion.
