A new day, another inspiring partner visit—this time with Munters! We kicked off the day with a lunch mingle alongside Munters employees, setting the perfect tone for what was to come. Our visit began with an insightful introduction from Jennie Tåqvist ♦️, who welcomed us and shared her journey as a female engineer. Her story, combined with valuable career advice, left us all inspired. To dive deeper into Munters' operations, we split into smaller groups and rotated through different stations. We started with a session on sustainability, where Astrid Ortis and Andréa Haag shared insights into Munters' ongoing initiatives and what’s next on their agenda. Moving on to the R&D lab, Zara Mårtensson, Markus Jansson, Per Lindstrand, and Rene Alexander Diaz Martinez walked us through their work with control and connectivity. We wrapped up the rotations with an introduction to climate control and AI, learning from Zeinab Moradi Nour and Magnus Carlsson about how Munters is leveraging AI in their innovations. A huge thank you to Caroline Branting and Camilla Forssberg for guiding us through the day, and to all the amazing people at Munters for hosting us—we truly appreciate the insights and inspiration!

We’re happy to share that Munters has signed an agreement to divest the FoodTech Equipment business to Grain & Protein Technologies for MEUR 97.5. The divestment is line with our strategy to strengthen FoodTech’s focus on growing its digital business, with software, controllers, sensors and IoT, which now form the FoodTech business area.   "The sale of the Equipment business offering is an important move towards our goal of enhancing our focus on FoodTech digital solutions. The equipment business has a distinguished legacy in engineering, strong leadership, and committed staff. I am certain that GPT will be a very good owner for them in the next stage of their development,” says Klas Forsström, President and CEO of Munters.
