Through the Nefab Way, we are working as an organization to save resources for tomorrow. In our operations, this is very much about elimination of waste and focusing on continuous improvements. One way of doing this is to work on our value creation and conduct Value Stream Mappings. This has now been conducted in Nefab sites around the world, including sites in the United States, Mexico, China, Vietnam, and Estonia, and the plan is to continue with these workshops during 2025. Value Stream Mapping allows Nefab to encourage continuous improvement and involving our employees in the process of improving our value creation. This work is part of the Nefab Way, which is a program to ensure operational excellence as we continue to deliver innovative products and services that meet our customers’ needs. Our EVP of Operations, Patrik Färdow, shares that "Value Stream Mapping in Nefab is about more than just identifying waste and improving processes, but also about embedding a mindset of continuous improvement throughout the organization. While we are introducing ‘The Nefab Way’ across all regions, I am confident that this will serve as a model for how we can work more efficent and create more value to our customers. "

Innovating Circular Packaging: How Nefab Supports Leading Automotive OEMs with Recycling and Resuability to Drive Cost & CO2 Savings As automotive production ramps up globally, circularity has become a key focus for OEMs, driven by rising demand and the environmental impact of increasing plastic production. These practices, such as designing packaging for recyclability, are gaining momentum as the industry seeks to optimize packaging for reuse and recycling. Nefab and PolyFlex – Part of Nefab Group help leading automotive OEMs achieve significant environmental and cost savings through innovative recycling initiatives. In one project, 210,600 lbs of plastic trays were recycled and in another, Nefab facilitated the recovery of 2.1 million lbs of Polypropylene resin. Both resulted in nearly 50% cost savings for their respective customers and large quantities of plastic being recycled into new production materials. “These projects are a great example of how sustainability can drive both environmental and financial benefits, “says Rick Demko, Director of Sustainability, PolyFlex – Part of Nefab Group, “it's a powerful reminder that with the right strategy, recycling and reusing can transform challenges into opportunities for both our customers and the environment.” Dive deeper into these innovative projects here: https://lnkd.in/d78mcEai #Nefab #PolyFlex #SavingResources #Circularity #Sustainability #Automotive #OEM #Innovation #Recycling
