🌍🚌 Svapipe is on the road to net zero by 2050! 🚌🌍 After identifying their biggest environmental challenge – the fossil emissions from their six transport vans – Svapipe took matters into their own hands. 🌿🚛 The vans, used for assignments across the country, also serve as mobile offices for their teams, requiring power and heat throughout the day. But with resourcefulness and innovation, they found a better way to power the vans without idling! 🔋 The Solution? - Installation of a large power bank (LPS) to charge while the vehicles are running. - Solar panels on vehicle roofs to continuously charge the battery. - Powering the heater, microwave, coffee maker, and fridge with the LPS instead of idling the vehicles! 🚀 CEO Christoffer Johansson says: "When we joined No Dig Alliance, we hadn't worked as purposefully with ESG and sustainability; there simply weren't any contracting authorities that required fossil-free operations. Brilliant news from the alliance! 🚀 Yesterday, Johannessen AS officially became the second Norwegian company to join NDA, strengthening the organization with their expertise in horizontal directional drilling. -              The acquisition of Johannessen AS is yet another important step for NDA in our mission to expand our alliance in the Nordics. Exciting news! Soon, Pollex AB will be the first company in Sweden to embark on a project in electrified pipe bursting! The project will take place in Bergsjön in the middle of April, on behalf of Kretslopp och Vatten, City of Gothenburg. 🚀 In the project, all pipe bursting equipment, tools, and handheld machines will be electrically powered.
