On 21 November, the Swedish-German Business Day 2024 took place at the Nordic Embassies in Berlin, focusing on collaboration for a safer Europe. To summarise the discussions, we talked about: - Sweden’s NATO entry and strategic innovation partnership with Germany in security, defence, and space are crucial for cooperation. - The triple helix approach – collaboration between academia, industry, and government – is essential for developing resilient technologies. - Dual-use items for civilian and military applications are vital for European peace and security. - Sweden and Germany can collaborate in space, including science services, satellite networks, spacecraft operations, and rocket tests. - The decentralised nature of renewable energy increases cyberattack risks, necessitating resilient energy networks. A big thank you to all the distinguished speakers, participants and to the Embassy of Sweden in Germany and the Schwedische Handelskammer in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Organizing the Skyline Acceleration Program 2024 has been an incredible experience - showcasing Swedish innovations that contribute to the decarbonization of NYC’s built environment🏗️💚 Programs like this not only highlight Sweden’s leadership in energy and climate innovation but also emphasize the importance of collaboration in addressing global challenges. At #skåneinnovationday2024 it was all about the green transition and how AI can help accelerate this in the energy sector. We had the opportunity to present how NODA Intelligent Systems' digital solutions create 10-30% extra capacity in thermal energy systems. NODA Intelligent Systems and Energy Opticon AB are excited to jointly offer innovative solutions for demand flexibility, supporting today the energy systems of tomorrow that are both integrated and adaptable. The project e-Flex - digital plattform för handel och styrning av energi initiated a unique and successful collaboration between energy companies, property owners, and suppliers of energy optimization and building optimization systems. The aim was to develop an efficient and replicable demand flexibility system for district heating, district cooling, and electricity, to create a win-win situation for both suppliers and consumers, and to establish a more robust and environmentally friendly energy system. The platform has been tested and evaluated over a prolonged period and has been operational in a real environment since March 2023. This project laid the foundation for a strong partnership between Energy Opticon and NODA. We are now proud and pleased to announce that this collaboration has been formalized into a partnership, and both Energy Opticon and NODA are ready to jointly deliver seamless and efficient demand flexibility systems to other energy companies and property owners. In mid-October, SustaidSyd started its unique program in the Blekinge region. More than 20 companies participate in the program, with the goal of accelerating sustainable innovations in crisis, preparedness and climate change. The companies operate in: water/sanitation/hygiene, energy supply, IT/infrastructure/construction/logistics, healthcare, risk and safety, food/packaging/waste. NODA Intelligent Systems is honored and humbled to be chosen to participate in a program with such an important mission! Aligning exceptionally well with our vision of a sustainable society, where energy is radically more efficient, resilient, and delivered when, where, and how it is needed.

It is vital for organisations and systems to always make the right choice. NODA has been providing solutions for supporting this process and creating an understanding of thermal systems for nearly twenty years. Control, analytics and digital twin technology to provide investment decision support, predictive maintenance and customer communication content. Recent innovations in internal R&D at NODA as well as joint projects such as HeatMineDH and ENFLATE have taken these solutions to new levels. At the centre of this innovation is the analytics suite NODA Copilot which underpins our control solutions for active management of supply and demand in heat networks. This is the starting point for a structured process to increase system capacity and reduce fossil dependence. The starting point for making the right choice. Always.

It's been busy at NODA, as we are running full speed with the Flexus delivery, onboarding several customers and closing new strategic partnerships (watch this space!). I have to pause and reflect on the fantastic event back in September in New York, hosted by The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce - New York and Swedish Energy Agency to support the hashtag #SKYLINE Accelerator cohort - which NODA Intelligent Systems is a proud part of - during the Climate Week. One of the many highlights was to see NODA´s tech live in the state-of-the art buildings at 345 Hudson and 555 Greenwich. Incredibly proud of our achievement and how our NODA Intelligent Platform is helping to accelerate the shift towards significantly more efficient energy systems by both increasing system capacity and reducing fossil dependence! Wow - what a spectacular finish for our #Skyline-cohort at Climate Week! 🎉 Our event “Building for the Future - Advancing Climate Innovation in NYC’s Built Environment” connected Swedish innovators with key stakeholders from the NYC real estate market. We started off with a great keynote by Anthony Fiore, Chief Program Officer, NYS, followed by a stunning panel with Jonathan Thompson, Benjamin Rodney and Richard Yancey, FAIA, LEED AP, brilliantly moderated by Kristin Barbato. Skyline 2024 has officially launched!    The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce - New York, the Swedish Energy Agency (Sw. Energimyndigheten), and Build Edison kicked off with two days of intensive preparations for the cohort companies before they head to New York for Climate Week in September.   Congratulations once again to the great group of companies: 3E flow, Brinja, Ecoclime Group, Energy Save, KTC, Modio Facility Assets AB, NODA Intelligent Systems, and Vyer.com.   A special thanks to our hosts Nasdaq and Dennis Fagerros for making the kick-off possible.   About the Skyline Acceleration Program: Skyline is designed for Swedish SMEs with climate and energy innovations in the real estate and construction sectors. New York aims for carbon neutrality by 2050, highlighted by Local Law 97, targeting greenhouse gas reductions in buildings, the city’s largest emissions source. The demand for innovative climate solutions is clear. Participants in the Skyline program will benefit from tailored sessions on market intelligence as well as refining pitches and marketing strategies toward potential American customers.
