  • We’re looking for a graphic/digital designer with an impeccable eye for detail. And great taste. What will you be working on? We honestly don’t know. This year, we have been working with space technology, luxury hotels, climate tech, gaming, venture capital companies, and more. Oh, yes, we also worked with an insanely cool chemistry startup in Paris. Our clients tend to be spread out all over the world. And that’s just the way we like it. Job post link in comments.

  • Do you know what the flames of a thruster look like way out in space, where there is no oxygen? Neither did we! When visualizing The Exploration Company’s Nyx spacecraft reaching the Moon, we did our best to imagine how the propulsion system would actually look and behave. After going deep down the rabbit hole, studying all the videos and articles we could find, this is what we came up with.

  • When capturing The Exploration Company’s hardware, we drew inspiration from the iconic Apple ads of the 1970s and 80s, known for cleverly ‘humanizing’ intimidating new technology (the newly invented graphical user interface was a whole new ball game back then). By showing their spacecraft components in tactile, human-centered contexts, often incorporating hands, we hoped to make this advanced tech feel more accessible, tangible, and rooted in everyday possibility. 📸 Photography by Nicolas Kern.

  • This is Nyx. When reimagining what the future could look like for The Exploration Company, we looked to the past. To the first Space Age – a time of optimism and excitement about what humanity could achieve together. Our 3D renders of the Nyx space capsule were developed with that era in mind, harking back to the way the world marveled at the Apollo missions, and the sense of wonder those moments inspired. Our goal was to combine the retro-futuristic optimism of the 1960s with a modern, approachable aesthetic that would resonate on an emotional level.

  • The cutting-edge technology powering The Exploration Company’s mission is just part of the story. Behind every piece of hardware and every line of code, there is someone making sure every nut and bolt is attached at just the right number of rotations, at just the right place. (This is why our team wasn’t allowed to touch a single thing, and based on our recent experience assembling IKEA furniture in our office, they weren’t wrong). Our company portraits for The Exploration Company, shot by Nicolas Kern, highlight the men and women behind the machines. We wanted to show the team at work—and the mix of both craftsmanship and science that goes into everything they do. Nico was the perfect photographer to make that shine through.

  • We’ll admit it—we lucked out. Earlier this year, we were asked to hop on a call with Hélène Huby, the CEO of The Exploration Company, and present our vision for how their company could come to life. They were about to begin their Series B fundraise and needed help with content, narrative, and design. The Exploration Company is reshaping humanity’s future in space with their reusable and in-orbit refillable spacecraft, Nyx. Their mission: to make space exploration accessible, sustainable, and cooperative. It was a dream brief. In contrast to the cold and industrial aesthetics typical of the sector, our creative strategy was rooted in human emotion, warmth, and artistry, with references ranging from Fondation Maeght to Paul Rand’s IBM designs to early Apple and Olivetti ads. We called it ‘Space for Everyone’. There was a time when we as a species were optimistic about the future. When we believed we could do great things. When we went to the Moon and back with a computer not much more advanced than a modern-day calculator. We’re big believers in that optimism, and we need to get it back. Hélène and her fantastic team at The Exploration Company are doing just that, and we couldn’t be happier to share that today they have announced the closure of their $160 million Series B fundraise, one of the biggest space tech raises in Europe. 🚀 As we said, we lucked out. It’s been a privilege to partner with them, and today we’re starting to share some more of our work from this past year.

Syntetica’s mission is simple: To make nylon that goes on and on and on. We achieve this with a breakthrough green chemistry process. Or as we call it, Beautiful Chemistry. Our new branding done by Omoi captures the essence of this mission. We are taking a material which was first synthesised in 1935 into a new era. One where sustainability and circularity are at its core. ♻️ Our mission video is below & the website can be found here: https://www.syntetica.co/ A major thanks goes to Monica Kelly and Carl Jesper Versfeld for their incredible work!

  • Congratulations Marco & Louis – we've had so much fun working with you to create the Syntetica brand identity and website. Excited for what lies ahead! 🧪✨
