Ten years ago, Maria Kurowski and her husband left their home country of Venezuela to seek a safer life in Sweden. Although they are happy in Sweden, they still feel a strong longing to return. Starting a family in a new country is challenging. You encounter new traditions and social norms that can feel unfamiliar, and it requires both adaptation and patience. Much like Moomin, who is often traveling on various adventures, Maria and her family have also embarked on a journey — both geographically and culturally.
