How can you explain a product that lacks a tangible user interface?  In situations where it's not possible to showcase a screenshot or video recording of a product, we address this by creating animated illustrations that serve as the product explainers. These visuals from the Kima Network project effectively demonstrate how the product functions without relying on actual screenshots. Strengthening Partnerships in #Lviv On February 8, Valery Krasovsky, CEO and co-founder of Sigma Software, and Dan Olofsson, founder of Danir Group — the Swedish corporate group that includes Sigma Software — visited Lviv City Council for a working meeting with the Mayor of Lviv, Андрій Садовий. During the meeting, Mr. Sadovyi gave an insightful presentation on the city’s development, potential, and longstanding collaboration with Swedish businesses, as well as plans to expand this partnership. As a part of the Swedish IT consulting ecosystem, Sigma Software has been cooperating with city administrations for many years, including with the Lviv City Council, so we were glad to explore further opportunities for collaboration. Among the main topics was Lviv’s efforts in building rehabilitation centers and conducting extensive R&D to boost medicine. As a socially responsible business, Sigma Software and Sigma Software Unity Fund have contributed approximately $4.8 million since the start of the war to support the military, including rehabilitation projects. Dan Olofsson, a well-known philanthropist, has also made a personal contribution of over $1 million to aid Ukraine. Another crucial area of synergy discussed was increasing defenсe capabilities. In 2024, Sigma Software co-founded Defence Builder, an accelerator for defence tech startups that helps validate ideas, attract investors, and connect with clients worldwide. Education remains a priority as well. We spoke about our partnership with Star for Life Ukraine, a project founded by Dan Olofsson and Sigma Software. Its mission is to provide basic programming knowledge, improve English skills, and support the mental well-being of schoolchildren across Ukraine. In 2024 alone, about 10,000 children participated in Star for Life Ukraine programs. The initiative has already equipped eight computer labs, including two in Lviv and the region. Our Head of Global Affairs, Alexandra Govorukha, recently attended the UK-Ukraine Cyber Security Networking Reception hosted by UK Defence and Security Exports. The event gathered representatives from the Government of Ukraine, key critical infrastructure sectors—including energy—and the Government of the United Kingdom. It provided a platform for UK cyber security companies to present their expertise and explore ways to support Ukraine's cyber resilience. According to the UK government, the cyber security sector continues to expand, with a 13% increase in revenue, reaching £11.9 billion, and around 2,700 new jobs created. Meanwhile, Ukraine's cyber security market has grown fourfold over the past eight years, reaching $138 million in 2024, according to recent research by the IT Ukraine Association. As an Ambassador of the IT Ukraine Association in the UK, Alexandra continues to strengthen international partnerships and highlight Ukraine's potential on the global stage. #SigmaSoftware #CyberSecurity #UKUkrainePartnership #ITUkraineAssociation
