🚀 Employee Spotlight: James Marsden 🌟 Introducing James Marsden, our Export Sales Manager at Standby, who recently joined our team in July. James Marsden is responsible for all export sales for the Standby Group and is focused on maintaining and growing our current international sales whilst developing new markets for our products around the world. James is passionate about fostering relationships with colleagues and customers and enjoys the challenge of finding the ideal solutions for customers' needs. He is excited about the strategic plans we have for expanding the Standby Group's international presence. Although he has only recently joined Standby, James is already enjoying the opportunity to travel and meet with teams in different locations. He really enjoys learning about the diverse and fantastic products we offer in our group. As a passionate rugby fan, James is inspired by the All Blacks. He admires their principles, ethos and culture and sees them as valuable lessons that can lead to success in both work and life. Outside of the office, James enjoys spending time with his wife, children and friends. Since retiring from playing rugby, he watches as many games as he can. He also enjoys relaxing by walking his dog and exploring the picturesque Yorkshire countryside. Now for the fun fact: James' great-grandfather was a professional footballer at Burnley, where he won the FA Cup in 1914 and played three international matches for England! 🚀 Employee Spotlight: Rohit Suri 🌟 Meet Rohit Suri, our Advanced Research and Innovation Engineer at Standby, who joined us in September 2023. Rohit's role involves exploring future technologies, innovations, new business models, and services for the Standby group. He equips us with the necessary information and ideas to achieve and surpass our targets in the years ahead. Rohit loves the thrill of exploring new ideas and drawing inspiration from both within the group and the outside world. One of his favourite aspects of the job is collaborating with diverse teams across Europe, gaining insights into different perspectives and minds. Recently, Rohit has been diving into the exciting world of AI, working with various teams to discover ways to enhance our business and customer experiences through AI. This project has provided fascinating insights into how technology can be leveraged within our group. Rohit finds inspiration in the people around him, believing there's much to learn from colleagues, not just professionally, but also about life in general. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, playing tennis, and staying healthy. He also has a passion for travel and dreams of exploring South America next. Fun fact: Rohit has lived in five different cities across four countries in the last ten years!
