45 restaurants and wine bars competing in the finals in Star Wine List of the Year Germany! This year, Star Wine List is coming to Düssseldorf on 17 March to present Gold Stars to the teams behind the best wine lists in the Germany. Judges Jan Konetzki, Emmanuel Rosier, Pascaline Lepeltier and Stefan Neumann MS have just announced their finalists, who are spread across the whole country, from Grassau to Sylt. We’re looking forward to celebrating with all of them at ProWein next month. Ireland Ambassador, sommelier Morgan VanderKamer has added 12 Red Stars to our guide to the best wine bars and restaurants in Ireland and Northern Ireland, “all offering something different but in their own fashion,” she says. Star Wine List of the Year France 2025 saw a new category for our French awards: Best Bordeaux Wine List. Supported by Chateau de Pez, the Gold Star was awarded to Le Taillevent and Paul Robineau MS by CEO of the Louis Roederer group, Frédéric Rouzaud and Commercial Director of Château de Pez Florent GENTY. Both Frédéric Rouzaud and Paul Robineau commented on the ‘Bordeaux-bashing’ of recent years, which has proven challenging (“I think it’s time that changes,” said Frédéric Rouzaud), while expressing optimism for both the gastronomic reputation and good value of the region’s wines.
