On this exact day, 75 years ago, the iconic String shelf was created by Kajsa & Nisse Strinning in 1949. Today, we celebrate this timeless furniture icon that has shaped Scandinavian design and inspired creativity in homes worldwide. From its ingenious design to its flexible functionality, the String shelf remains as relevant today as it was then. We continue to honour the vision of the Strinning’s while inviting new ideas into the String family. Here's to 75 years of creativity and innovation! #String75anniversary

We are extremely proud and happy to have won the prestigious Living etc Style Awards with Relief for Best storage. Relief is designed by TAF Studio and the interconnecting chests of drawers can be stacked tall, stand solo or scatter storage throughout a space, complimented by hook rails in matching or contradictory colours. https://lnkd.in/dttf8DSd

I år fyller String Furniture 75 år! Det firades storslaget på ambassadörens residens i onsdags. Som den del av den stora designfestivalen ”3 days of design” arrangerades först ett panelsamtal på temat: ”Swedish design, past and future”. Och det var en namnkunnig panel: Nils Becker, grundare av Architonic. Li Pamp, CEO The Swedish National Association of Craftsmen. Chris L. Halstrøm, designer/artist. Ben Spriggs, Editor-in-chief Elle Decoration UK. Bo Hellberg, CMO String Furniture. Samtalet modererades av Caroline B Le Bongoat. Därefter fortsatte firande med musik på innergården. ”3 days of design” pågår till och med idag, fredag. Passa på att uppleva en massa fin svensk design. —- Bild 1.
