We are happy to announce the successful launch of our Leadership Development Program! 🚀 Last week marked a milestone: with a focus on technical leadership and a mindset based on our #voestalpinegroupIT values and #oneIT guiding principles, we kicked off with all our leaders. The program is designed to form a global leadership team, actively supporting our Area, Department and Team Leads in their growth 🌍 We look forward to the journey ahead and the benefits of this program for our leaders, employees and customers 😊 After the kick-off, our Area Leads met once again at the Leadership Onsite in Linz. 🥨 Oktoberfest vibes at #voestalpinegroupIT 🥨 Last week, our colleagues from across all Austrian locations came together for an unforgettable evening with Dirndl, Lederhosen and Kaiserschmarren! 🎉 Highlights included a Bällebad (yes, a ball pit!), an amazing performance by one of our talented colleague´s band, and of course, the great time together. Good ideas are created together 💡 And that's why we hosted the 26th #OpenShift "Anwendertreffen" in Linz. This event takes place regularly in cooperation with various companies and provides the community of #OpenShift users with a platform for knowledge transfer and sharing experiences 👩🏾💻👨💻 Around 150 experts and users from the DACH region met at #voestalpine on September 10, 2024, and spent an exciting day with presentations, exchanges, and insights into the various application areas 🙌 Thanks to the organization team and all speakers! Der #ERPSummer mit dem Kurstitel ERP-Systeme Anwendungen I+II an der Johannes Kepler Universität Linz war auch im Herbst ein toller Erfolg! Wir von der voestalpine group-IT durften den Student:innen den Vertriebsprozess im SAP Fiori und Einblicke ins SAP Customizing anhand praxisnaher Beispiele vorstellen. Großes Lob an die Student:innen, dass sie so aufmerksam und motiviert mitgemachthaben - so macht das Vortragen richtig Spaß! A sporty week: on Wednesday, two #voestalpinegroupIT teams ran in the Business Run in Linz, and on Thursday our runners started in Vienna together with colleagues from voestalpine High Performance Metals GmbH and voestalpine Signaling 🏃♀️🏃🏾♂️ Two very successful events – one of our colleagues even managed the 4.3 kilometers on the Donauinsel in around 15 minutes 🥇🎉 Congratulations to everyone who took part! 🤩 #voestalpineteam

Wir von der voestalpine group-IT durften den Student:innen im Kurs ERP-Systeme - Anwendungen II das Customizing in SAP anhand praxisnaher Beispiele vorstellen. Ein großes Dankeschön an alle Student:innen, die trotz 30 Grad Außentemperatur und bereits begonnenen Ferien hochmotiviert teilgenommen haben. So macht das Vortragen richtig Spaß! Wir freuen uns schon auf die nächste Auflage der Kurse ERP-Systeme-Anwendungen I und ERP-Systeme-Anwendungen II in Kooperation mit SAP und KPMG von 09.09-13.09.2024 ! Together with Johannes Kepler Universität Linz and voestalpine Steel Division, we organized a special event last week, where student groups presented their achievements from the semester. We were impressed by their work! 🤩 The young innovative minds were able to successfully develop and present projects that covered a wide range of highly relevant topics such as AI, cloud and digitalization 🚀 Some of our colleagues in #voestalpinegroupIT have also accompanied two of these projects.
