Offline VisuALog, a valuable tool for many shipowners, is now available online through the newly launched PureBallast Connect customer portal. PureBallast Connect makes report data accessible on the cloud, eliminating the need for time-consuming physical visits to extract log files as these are automatically downloaded to the Online VisuALog. This online tool saves time on extracting data for Vessel General Permit (VGP) reporting, and with its integration with PureBallast Connect, it becomes even more efficient. For the upcoming VGP Annual Report deadline on the 28th of February, customers are already making good use of Online VisuALog. By helping our customer save time on the annual reporting of functionality monitoring data , we enable them to focus on optimizing their operations and unlocking efficiency. Alfa Laval has taken a significant step towards delivering the benefits of ultrasonic anti-fouling technology to its customers by signing the agreement to acquire NRG Marine, a leading provider of ultrasonic anti-fouling solutions. These solutions are designed for diverse applications within the marine, oil and gas, and other industrial sectors. The technology safely prevents organic matter from colonizing the machinery components by keeping surface clean, reducing fouling, scaling, sludge, and deposits on critical parts. It emerges as a promising alternative to other methods and aligns with future regulations. Fitting the system improves the operational efficiency of the asset, reduces maintenance while lowering cleaning costs and extends the asset’s lifecycle.
