Did you know that today is Lucia Day, one of Sweden's most cherished traditions? 🎄✨ Lucia, known as the "Bearer of Light," is celebrated with enchanting candlelit processions across the country. Girls and boys dressed in white gowns sing traditional songs, spreading warmth and light during the darkest days of winter. The girls wear wreaths adorned with electric candles, while the boys carry stars on sticks and wear tall paper cones on their heads. No Lucia celebration is complete without Lussekatter. These are delicious saffron buns shaped like curled cat tails. These mildly sweet treats, found in bakeries all over Sweden during December, are a must-try this season! At Cibes, we love celebrating traditions that bring light and joy into our lives. Happy Lucia Day! 🌟
