It's day two of European Safer Gambling Week! 🎉 We asked Jakob Jonsson, researcher affiliated with Karolinska Institutet, and psychologist at Sustainable Gambling, to give his perspective on limits as a safer gambling measure: "Offering limit tools is a cornerstone of any safer gambling strategy. Mandatory limits are far more effective than voluntary ones, and for them to have an impact, they also need to be reasonable. Limits help players stay in control by sticking to their budgets and gambling only as much as they intend. For gambling operators, providing players with the option to set limits is a key component of preventive efforts. Limits can also play a crucial role as interventions for players showing signs of risky gambling behaviour."
