The experience in Expressionz Professional Suites was not very present.
I booked a premium room with a bathtub. When I checked in at 3:20 p.m., I was given a room with no hot water. The reason why I booked a room with a bathtub was to have a hot bath to relax my body. So, I left the room and I was assigned to another room and it turned out that the aircon in the bedroom was not working. So, by the time I was finally settled, it was already 7 pm. I was tired, exhausted, and frustrated. I asked for compensation. (Well, I normally was quite generous with other hotel buttons hotel charges RM50 for late check.out. So, I suppose I was delayed in checking in. They should have some kind of compensation.) Anyway, nothing was compensated.
I stayed there for 3 nights, and on the final night, my sticker on the room card was lost. As you may see in the photo that the rectangular piece of white sticker was peeled off naturally. And, I was told that I had to pay RM20 to get to the chip and the sticker back. I totally gone met. How dare they were to charge me when the design of the chip of the room was just so loosely adhered to the card. I fought for that one. Then they finally give me a better card, see photo.
In general, it was not a present experience when no one really cared about me as a guest. Every service you have to pay for, luggage storage, swimmingpool tickets and the lost of the flimsy chip and sticker. Staff did not have the customer service mentality.
And, it was not particularly clean. You have to request for toilet paper.
The only good thing is probably the convenience of the location.
