Kn Aparthotel Columbus

If you’re looking for a hotel with a pool to sit round in the sun, this is not the one for you. Pro and con list below:- Cons 1. The sun doesn’t reach the centre pool area apart from an hour or two in the morning (January) - there are terrace areas but the sunbeds are of poor quality and you are not getting the ‘pool experience’. 2. It is extremely noisy and is a hotel for party goers. Also, the cleaners are up at 7am with their trolleys and are talking loudly outside rooms. 3. Do not get fresh towels every day. 4. Food is not appetising what so ever, we booked for bed and breakfast and haven’t eaten breakfast in the hotel once. Have to pay extra to have a kettle in the room. 5. Took about 30 minutes to check in as there was only one member of staff on the front desk. 6. Rooms in the far building are rather outdated and beds are not particularly comfy. Pros 1. You are in a good location of Las Americas and there are some great bars/restaurants around the hotel. 2. Shower facilities are good and the water pressure is strong.

Just returned from a 7 night stay at columbus. Check in was quick and we were located a room on first floor overlooking the main road. Apartment was a 1 bed apartment and was cleaned daily. Pool area doesn't get alot of sun but we used the area through the pool on the other side and the sun was there all day. There are also 2 terraces which get the sun the majority of the day. Loads of restaurants and supermarkets on the door step. Great location.
