Elsevier eBooks are available in three different formats:

  • ePub
  • ePub3
  • PDF

Transfer the eBook to your device via the iOS AppStore:

1. Download the eBook to your computer.
2. Connect your device to your computer and open the iOS AppStore. In iTunes click on your device icon in the navigation bar in the top of the screen.
3. Click 'Apps' in the left hand menu main the iOS AppStore screen.
4. Scroll down to the section labeled 'File Sharing' and select the app that supports your eBook file format.
5. Click 'Add File...' in the lower right corner to navigate to where books are stored on your computer. Alternatively you can drag and drop files.
6. Click 'Sync' in the bottom of the screen once you added your e-book and click 'Done' after the synchronization is complete.
7. Open the eBook in the app on your device. Please note: you might have to close the app first before the eBook becomes available in the app.
