EBRD have just published a new Food and Agribusiness Strategy 2025, a step in the right direction acknowledging the complexities of global food systems and the urgent need for sustainability, private-sector engagement, and partnerships. But what does sustainable transformation really look like on the ground? At Aliet Green, we’ve been leading this shift by: 🌱 Scaling regenerative organic farming to restore degraded land, sequester carbon, and build climate resilience - not just sustaining agriculture but actively regenerating ecosystems. 👩🌾 Empowering 1,500+ female farmers through training, fair wages, and financial literacy - because true economic inclusion starts with those most impacted by the system. 🌍 Bridging global commitments with local action - from carbon sequestration in coconut agroforestry to adopting digital traceability tools for fair, transparent supply chains. While global frameworks like EBRD’s 2025 Strategy set an important vision, real change happens in the soil, communities, and everyday business decisions. The challenge now? Turning strategic commitments into tangible impact. How do we move from ambition to action? --> Let’s talk. #SustainableAgriculture #RegenerativeOrganic #FoodSystemsTransformation

At Jasberry, we’ve always believed that our journey is about more than just growing rice. It’s about transforming lives, empowering communities, and building a brighter future alongside our incredible farmers who make everything possible. Our farmers are at the heart of everything we do. They are more than partners, they are family. Over the years, we’ve nurtured bonds with them that go far beyond work. These are connections built on heart-to-heart conversations, shared dreams, and a mutual commitment to uplift each other. We listen to their challenges, celebrate their victories, and stand by them as they grow, not just as farmers, but as individuals and communities striving for a better future. For us, the work doesn’t end in the fields. It’s about showing up for our farmers, supporting their growth, their families, and their aspirations. Because we know that "Big change starts with a tiny grain of rice", and it begins by caring deeply for the people who nurture it with love and dedication. When you choose Jasberry, you’re not just choosing delicious, healthy superfood rice. You’re joining a mission to transform lives, uplift farmers, and protect the future of our planet. Together, we’re creating a movement of transformation and positive impact.😊 #JasberryMovement #Jasberry #Impact #Transformation

🌍 This #Regenuary, It’s Time to Choose a Better Future 🌱 What if the food on your plate could do more than just nourish your body? What if it could heal the planet, uplift farmers, and create a ripple effect of change for generations to come? At Jasberry, we’re not just growing rice - we’re rebuilding ecosystems. Our regenerative agriculture practices: 🌾 Restore depleted soils, turning barren land into thriving organic farmland. 💧 Protect water systems and reduce carbon emissions to fight climate change. 🤝 Empower small-scale farmers, lifting families out of poverty with dignity. The time is now to focus on valuing what truly matters We stand at a pivotal moment in history—one marked by intensifying geopolitical tensions, the resurgence of totalitarian mindsets, and the alarming acceleration of global warming and nature depletion. These intertwined crises compel us to profoundly rethink how we perceive and measure progress. Metrics are more than just numbers; they embody a vision of the world. When grounded in solid science and aligned with our shared values, they guide us toward the action we urgently need. Economic success can no longer be measured solely by GDP—a narrow metric that overlooks the true essence of well-being, sustainability, and inclusivity. It’s time to value what truly matters: human flourishing, the health of our planet, and the solidarity that binds our societies. That’s why we’re establishing (co-creating) the Swiss Impact & Prosperity Initiative (SIPI)—an ambitious collaborative instrument designed to unify decision-making and pave a just, inclusive, and sustainable future for Switzerland and beyond. Together with global thought leaders—among them on stage André Hoffmann, David Bach, Anna Fontcuberta-Morral, Sandrine Dixson-Declève, Stephanie Hart , Andrea Rauber Saxer, and Knut Haanaes —plus more than 20 additional experts and over 180 representatives from the public and private sectors, NGOs, and academia supporting our pre-launch in Davos, we will explore innovative ways to transcend GDP and create a lasting legacy of impact. Ilaria Resta Patrick Odier Philipp Navratil Mikael de Rham Daniel Dubas Klaus Schonenberger Andy Churr Jean-Pierre Danthine Yves Flückiger Claire-Lise Rimaz and many other thought leaders are coming together to reconcile and act. Why SIPI?  - To transcend outdated metrics and embrace holistic measures of progress. - To implement frameworks that drive strategic development for both private and public sectors. - To spark global action through a scalable, scientifically rigorous approach, rooted in Swiss values of participation, equity, and resilience. Three Pillars of Change Swiss Fabric Commitment : Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to redefine prosperity based on well-being, equality, and respect for our planet. Scientific Excellence: Develop robust, intuitive indicators that guide better decisions for both people and the planet. Capacity Building: Reduce dissemination of effort, equip nations with the tools, data, and knowledge to measure—and achieve—what truly matters. Switzerland’s Opportunity By uniting institutions, academics, businesses, and communities around a shared vision of sustainable prosperity, Switzerland can lead by example on the global stage. Join us on Monday 20th January from 12am (CET) via livestream https://lnkd.in/eJkH84EU  ! Together, we can build a future that values what truly counts. #SwissImpact #Sustainability #BeyondGDP #WellBeing #InclusiveEconomy #SIPI #ActNow

#CIIP was delighted to serve as a supporting partner at the International Forum for Impact Investing 2025 (IFII) in Hong Kong, China. Hosted by the Finance Center for South-South Cooperation , Chinese Academy of Financial Inclusion Hong Kong Foundation, the Culture and Creative Industries (CCI) Taskforce UN Climate Change Global Innovation Hub., the UNIDO ITPO Shanghai, and WUSME, the Forum brought together key stakeholders to facilitate dialogue about impact investing in Asia. CIIP’s Akhil Khurana participated in the panel ‘Impact Transparency: Adopting Global Standards with Local Contexts’, sharing insights from CIIP’s ongoing research on supply chain sustainability in Southeast Asia. Moderated by Yibo DAI, Vice President at GoldenBee (Beijing) Management Consulting Co., Ltd. , the panel also featured Kelly Lee, Senior Vice President at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX), Chul Woo Moon, Professor of Strategy and Impact Investment at Sungkyunkwan University and Chair at GSG Impact Korea, Calvin Wong , Head of Sustainability Assurance Services at SGS Hong Kong Branch, Shuang Xue, Professor at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and Zhengwei Zhang, Director at the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) Beijing Office. The discussion addressed corporate sustainability reporting standards and priorities in Hong Kong, mainland China, Southeast Asia, and Korea. Key highlights of the discussion include: 🟢 ISSB standards are emerging as a common language and global baseline, aiding in risk management and investment decisions, and helping corporates maintain competitiveness and attract capital. 🟢 Finance and impact are no longer siloed considerations. The concept of double materiality - assessing both the financial impact of sustainability risks on a business and the broader societal or environmental impact of a business’s activities - highlights how financial and sustainability goals are deeply interconnected. This underscores the importance of integrating sustainability factors into core business strategies. 🟢 SMEs face difficulties in ESG reporting due to high costs and complexity, leading to an ESG divide where larger companies perform better while smaller ones struggle due to lower availability of resources. 🟢 It will take an entire ecosystem to support SMEs and suppliers on their sustainability journeys, with corporates, investors, and banks being able to support data collection, impact reporting and capacity building. We are grateful to our partners at the International Forum for China Impact Investing and the Chinese Academy of Financial Inclusion for their invitation to participate in the forum. We look forward to continuing collaboration with partners from Hong Kong and mainland China to advance impact investing in the region. #ImpactInvesting #SustainableDevelopment #SustainabilityReporting
