Our latest project with Mercedes-AMG GmbH has seen Bridgestone develop bespoke high-performance Potenza Sport tyres with ENLITEN Technology for both models of the Mercedes-AMG SL: the Mercedes-AMG SL 55 4MATIC+ and the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE.   Tested at Germany’s iconic Nürburgring proving ground, our custom-engineered tyres provide the sporty DNA necessary to maximise the combination of thrilling power and precision handling these vehicles offer.    We’re proud to work with Mercedes-AMG and once again help bring its pursuit of hybrid-powered high performance, precision and efficiency to life.   Photo credit: Mercedes-AMG

Nourishing lives, one meal at a time. Willing Hearts, an Institution of Public Character (IPC) registered charity run mostly by volunteers, prepares and delivers about 10,000 meals daily to the underprivileged and marginalised. This complex operation at Willing Hearts requires extensive logistics to cook and deliver meals efficiently. To support this meaningful cause, Bridgestone donated tyres to the fleet of vehicles managed by Willing Hearts, with the assistance of H Tyre. In addition, a team of 30 Bridgestone enthusiasts offered their support by preparing warm meals and delivering them to those in need. All volunteers experienced firsthand the magnitude of what serving society can mean. More than just a soup kitchen, Willing Hearts provides other support services to the underprivileged, the needy, and the marginalised to assist and guide them towards rehabilitating and reintegrating themselves as contributing members of our society. These efforts align with “Ease” and “Empowerment”, two of our Bridgestone E8 Commitment values. Bridgestone has set clear targets to achieve 50% reduction of our total CO2 emissions (Scope 1 & Scope 2) by 2030, carbon neutrality by 2050, and to reduce Scope 3 CO2 emissions by more than 5 times our operations’ emissions by 2030. We’re thrilled to share that in 2023, we achieved a 57% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions, surpassing our 2030 target. This milestone was significantly driven by our increased use of renewable energy (electricity). Additionally, we reduced Scope 3 emissions by 1.9 times our operational emissions, thanks to improvements in rolling resistance of our premium Dan-Totsu products and proposals for optimal operating routes in our mobility solutions.
