This campaign is dedicated to breaking cycles and uplifting the lives of our beneficiaries for life. But we can’t do it alone – we need your support to turn our vision into reality! 🚀 Each year, we touch the lives of over 22,000 individuals, offering crucial support and assistance to those facing various challenges. While some of our programmes receive government funding, many of our preventive and developmental initiatives rely on fundraising efforts to remain sustainable. That’ssssss a wrap for Chinese New Year celebrations across our centres 🐍    From tossing lohei to engaging games, delightful lunches, high tea, and heartfelt performances by our seniors—every celebration was brimming with joy and laughter ❤️ What made it even more special? Some of these celebrations were thoughtfully planned by our very own senior volunteers! 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 This month, Care Corner will be rolling out 'Scribe', an AI transcription tool that streamlines the documentation process for client interactions, to our social workers. By reducing the time required for case notes, our social workers can dedicate more attention to direct client support. “The AI reduces the stress of remembering key information from our conversations and gives us more bandwidth to attend to the client and be present with them,” shares Sheron Chng, Assistant Head, Care Corner Family Service Centre (Tampines). The tool also frees up mental capacity for social workers to apply techniques more effectively during sessions. “We have to use technical skills, remember what clients are sharing, and ensure emotional connectedness – all at the same time,” Sheron adds. Beyond 'Scribe', we’ve developed a custom management dashboard that consolidates data from over 100 social service programmes across our organisation. This tool allows us to track key performance indicators, identify gaps, and make informed decisions more efficiently. “When data is transparent and visible, we can better identify gaps and determine the right actions to take,” says Gina Lin, Head of our Innovation Squad. In the spirit of the festive holidays, our students at our Student Care Centres enjoyed a special movie screening of ‘Hi Noel’ and they had an amazing time! 🎄🎁       The heartwarming story taught them valuable lessons about showing care and love for their families, looking beyond themselves, and embracing their true selves. Over 400 people—including families and seniors—joined us for an unforgettable celebration as part of our Project Love Your Neighbour initiative, featuring: 🎶 Bagpipe performance by Christ Church Secondary School's Boys' Brigade and Carolling performances  🎸 Ukulele performance by Anglican Senior Centre  🤹♂️ A creative miming act  🎁 Inspiring interactive Christmas Trails   🍪 Gingerbread man decorating  ☃️ DIY snowglobe-making! At Care Corner, we’re dedicated to supporting our seniors in leading healthier, more independent lives through innovative solutions and care.     To address the high fall risk among frail seniors, especially those living alone, we introduced QuantumTX Bixeps, at our Senior Care Centre and Social Day Care Centres. Since November 2023, these machines have empowered over 150 seniors across 3 centres to:  ✅ Improve balance  ✅ Strengthen lower legs  ✅ Manage and prevent frailty    Read more about how Bixeps helped seniors like Mdm Chia gain confidence in walking here: https://lnkd.in/gJm2k2YW     The QuantumTX Bixeps, which is developed in Singapore, uses low-energy magnetic fields to activate and strengthen muscles, simulating the benefits of exercise without the need for physical movement.    With these innovations, we hope they help restore confidence, independence, and dignity to our seniors. 💪    #CareCornerSG #CareToEveryCorner
