Happy to celebrate the dedication and compassion of our Neighbours for Active Living programme volunteers in supporting the care of more than 14,000 seniors in our community over the past 13 years with South East Community Development Council (CDC) last weekend. Graced by Mr Fahmi Aliman, Mayor of South East District, the event recognised the vital role our volunteers play in working with our CGH well-being coordinators and partners to support seniors with complex health and social needs, strengthen community bonds, and enhance their quality of life. We also unveiled our expanded volunteer befriending programme, ‘𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 @ 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁’, which builds on the success of the Friend-A-Senior programme in training over 900 volunteers over the past decade. Circle of Care @ South East will extend support beyond seniors to more residents, and expand volunteer training beyond befriending, to drive health literacy and empower more residents to get well, keep well, and age well within their communities. 🔗 Find out more about Circle of Care @ South East and how it aims to build a more activated and empowered community: https://lnkd.in/gApqHsCc ➡️ Swipe through the images to see the highlights from the event! #CGHCares #ChangiGeneralHospital #CaringGeneralHospital #YourTrustedCarePartner #InnovatingHealthcareForTomorrow #NeighboursForActiveLiving #VolunteersAppreciationDay #CircleofCareSouthEast #PopulationHealth #HealthierSG #AgeWellSG
