NCSS had the pleasure of presenting the Sustainable Philanthropy Framework at the International Forum of Accounting Standards Setters (IFASS) meeting on 24th September in London hosted by the IFRS Foundation, where standard setters from around the globe convened to discuss matters relating to financial and sustainability reporting. The Sustainable Philanthropy Framework was developed to help corporates take on a more sustained and longer-term approach to giving back to the community. We benefited from robust discussions amongst the attendees on Sustainable Philanthropy and received positive feedback on how it can help companies in identifying risks and opportunities related to community investments and sustainability reporting. 79% of the attendees found the Framework helpful in guiding companies in their jurisdiction in reporting their community investment efforts. The team also had the opportunity to meet with representatives from International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) and EFRAG where we exchanged insights and sought alignment in our respective work. It was inspiring to see the collective effort towards enhancing financial and sustainability standards globally. We're looking forward to applying these insights in our ongoing work with our ecosystem partners in Singapore - Company of Good, Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), raiSE SG, Singapore Business Federation, Singapore Institute of Directors, SGX Group, SG Enable. #SustainabilityReporting #StandardSetters #SusPhilEarlyAdopters #SustainablePhilanthropy
