Together with the European Union Delegation to Singapore & Cyber Youth Singapore we closed EU Green Diplomacy Weeks in 🇸🇬 by learning more about & collectively cleaning up 180GB of #datawaste. That’s equivalent to driving twice from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur & back! Our inaugural Youth Digital Sustainability Meetup was opened by Ambassador of 🇪🇪 Priit Turk and EU Ambassador to Singapore Iwona Piórko. As part of EU Green Diplomacy Weeks, in partnership with European Union Delegation to Singapore Estonian Embassy is launching the inaugural Digital Cleanup Campaign. 🌳 This will culminate with a Digital Sustainability event with Cyber Youth Singapore on 28th Nov. 💡 The global initiative #worldcleanupday originates from ESTONIA. It all started on a sunny day in May 2008, when 50 000 volunteers cleaned up over 10 000 tons of waste in five hours. Let´s start by looking at What is Digital Data Waste 👇
