Our studio is officially open 🥳 We had a blast hosting new guests and a bunch of familiar faces at our studio on 18 May! Accompanied by good food, drinks and music, we enjoyed ourselves while doing good to the planet as well. We effectively recycled 5kg of waste materials (Clay, food waste, paper) with the help of the 130 guests who graced our event, a promising result that we hope to scale with future programmes 🌿 With the help of our collaborators including Project Enigma, we held various clay workshops and had the pleasure of witnessing how creative people can get with simple materials like #clay and #foodwaste 🍌 On behalf of the team at Ferticlay we sincerely thank everyone who took the time to grace this momentous occasion with us. Explore the roots of Ferticlay with Jodie as she shares about the journey behind our startup 🌱 As an interior design student looking to tackle pollution in the construction industry, she created her own modelling clay using natural ingredients like clay, paper, and eggshells.
