🌱 From farm to desk (almost!) 🌱 We're thrilled to announce the launch of our very own Grobrix Eco Farm at AIA Tower, brought to you by the #AIASG Corporate Real Estate and Sustainability Team!   This innovative, modular, edible hydroponic green wall, designed and made in Singapore, brings fresh, pesticide-free produce right to our office. 🌿 Every two weeks, our employees can participate in harvesting sessions and take home some of the delicious bounty. Bringing the farm inside and growing our own healthy lunch! Containing more than just your common lettuce (we have 4 kinds!) our #sustainable green wall at Eastspring Investments also grows curly kale, spinach and herbs like Italian basil, mint and oregano! With some added protein this provides me with: ✨energy to power through the rest of the day (with no food coma!) ✨mental clarity to focus through afternoon meetings ✨fullness to resist the 4pm munchies and all the sweets and choccies in HR (ok ok maybe I cant always resist!) ✨nourishment knowing I am fuelling my body and showing some self care ✨gratitude for mama earth and knowing we are doing something for sustainability ✨a break away from the desk to eat and laugh with colleagues To top it off, this is one of the freshest and cleanest salads I have tasted. Office farm walls are about SO MUCH MORE than adding greenery to your workspace - and now we have the data to prove it! 🌱 A new white paper from Knight Frank Singapore discusses their experience with a Grobrix farm wall - and the results speak volumes. After just three months, 87% of their staff reported that having fresh vegetables growing (and regular harvests!) contributed positively to their personal wellbeing. "Both Knight Frank staff and visitors to the office were observed to stare at the farm wall from time to time, lost in thought, letting the green wall of calm take them away from their work concerns, their anxieties, problems to be solved, just for a minute or two."
