During our recent visit to Okinawa’s renowned oceanarium, we were captivated by the impressive variety and scale of marine life on display. The collection showcased the region’s unique biodiversity, offering a fascinating glimpse into the ocean’s wonders. While the exhibits were visually stunning, there’s potential to enhance the visitor experience with deeper storytelling and educational insights that bring each exhibit to life.

Our latest visit took us along the historic Inner Ring, a unique loop around the city that offers both rich history and potential for the future. The Inner Ring has the promise of being transformed into an active mobility corridor, creating vibrant spaces and new gateways into the city centre. As we explored, we learned more about the area's historical significance and its potential for placemaking—reimagining the city’s connection to its heritage while looking ahead to modern, sustainable design opportunities.
