Dr. Prasad Dharmasena, CEO of National Institute of Plantation Management (NIPM) and Mr. Anura Athukorala, Chairman of Athukorala Goup from Sri Lanka visited us on 12 November.   We are in the process of planning a collaborative research initiative with NIPM to develop a social enterprise model aimed at enhancing farmers' incomes while supporting corporations in elevating their brand value.

🌊 Exciting News from the 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐬 Event! 🌊 IAAS 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐬 recently wrapped up the event in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on 8 October 2024!  With the theme "𝙋𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘼𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮, 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙮 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨" the event was a great success, supported by the 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐁𝐒𝐅𝐅). A key highlight was the signing of a 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐌𝐎𝐔) between IAAS and BSFF, formalizing their collaboration in aquaculture. This agreement will focus on enhancing training, fostering research partnerships, providing internships, and building capacity in sustainable aquaculture practices. In 2024, IAAS developed a new platform to create a sustainable food production ecosystem for investors, academics, and agribusiness specialists, featuring 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐬, 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐬, and 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐬. We are excited to implement these initiatives across various countries and invite more ASEAN nations to join us!
