    Great morning with K2 STRATEGIC doing a beach clean up on Singapore's East Coast Park. Very eye opening to see how much plastics are washing up on the shores! 🫣 We collected 180kg of waste in just 1.5 hours and whilst it felt like a great achievement, we were horrified to find out that beach clean ups like this happen on a near daily basis!! 😲 It is estimated that 1-2 million tonnes of plastics enters our oceans each year and the full extent of the health risks associated with microplastics is still unknown.... Individuals, companies and governments can all do better to cut down on the use of plastics to help the environment and our future generations. It was certainly a good reminder for me and something I intend share with my daughters next time we go to the beach!!
