Primewerks emphasises safety as a primary concern in our manufacturing process. The company's stair spindles and rails are designed to serve as a safety barrier in homes, ensuring that they not only enhance the appearance of the house but also protect the residents. This focus on safety was highlighted when our first English client stressed the importance of not endangering anyone's life with poorly made products, stating, “You do not want to kill someone!” To ensure the highest level of safety and quality, Primewerks uses only premium materials. Our spindles are made from Clear Grade NZ Radiata Pine, which is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This ensures that the timber is responsibly sourced and of high quality. Additionally, Primewerks uses a process called lamination after finger jointing the wood, which enhances the strength and durability of the spindles. By doing so, they ensure the products meet rigorous safety standards. Moreover, our products undergo independent testing in laboratories located in the receiving country, further ensuring that the spindles meet international safety requirements. Our proprietary primer, which guarantees the wood grain remains invisible, also suggests a focus on aesthetic durability and product longevity, but it indirectly speaks to the care and precision in our overall manufacturing process. In summary, Primewerks takes multiple steps—careful material selection, advanced manufacturing techniques, and independent testing—to ensure that our stair spindles and rails provide a safe, reliable barrier for homes.
